If it's true it's only going to cost a 3rd. I would have jumped on that if I was Snow. He only needs to keep his two #1's unless you're getting a very good defenseman.

I would wait until the offseason for any goalie moves. Focus on defensemen and 3rd line help.

Mrazek and a couple of solid defensive dmen would help this team tremendously. The problem(obviously) is Snowjob. I expect him to do absolutely nothing.

Snow will a little more than nothing. He will bring in this years version of Shane Prince.

Halak is playing fine, no need to replace him with Mrazek, plus the Flyers are going to be all over that with both Elliot and Neuvirth hurt. Way more concerned with adding another defenseman or two and maybe some bottom-6 help.

Yep! Let's see if Garth is fairly active at the deadline after the billboard.

Doubtful. He did say he flat-out wasn't spending 1st rounders on rentals, which is fine. But I'm sure that we'll hear something like "guys with term weren't made available at the deadline, Snow is expected to be more active around the draft" and nothing will happen.

I'd like to see Snow take a long, hard look at Brodin. MIN is getting up there, in terms of the cap, and they're pretty mediocre. He'd be a good de Haan replacement and is signed for another 3 years after this one at a totally-manageable $4.16M/per.

I still want Pageau, too.

Would take some stones not to be active with everything that has gone on and JT being a UFA. Brodin could be a nice pickup. I agree with no #1's for rentals. Pageau would work as well.

I assume de Haan won't be here next year and Nelson probably won't be either. Send Nelson, and some other assets, home to MIN and get Brodin in return. Then go get Pageau to play 3C and see how the chips fall after that.

Sounds good to me. Things the Isles should be able to do without giving up #1's.
